This trip has been such a fun experience for me. I know I waited a long time to nake it happen and maybe it has made me  more apprecitive of the experience. Probably the one thing that stands out the most is how nice and extremly helpful the French people have been. Even with all our preparing and zillion maps we still have have had to ask many many questions and directions in our minimal french and english and pointing. Everyone has bent over backwards to help. We even had people walk 5 ot 6 blocks with us just to get us to the right train or bus stop. The sites here are like being in the Pirate of Carribean in Disneyland and memoriable of course but the people we meet will leave the biggest impression on me. I hope to take back this attitude with me when I encounter vistors to San Diego.
